Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Explained

Paintless Dent Repair or PDR is a great option to repair dents without disturbing your vehicles finish. Removing dents without paint, fillers or sanding means the repairs are quicker, less expensive, and better for the environment. But what exactly is PDR?

Freeway Auto body’s skilled technicians use specialized lighting, hand tools and expert precision to slowly apply pressure to gently push the dent outward and restore your vehicle’s auto body to its original condition. Paintless Dent Repair doesn’t fill or cover dents, it actually removes dents completely. Our decades of experience ensure it’s done just right. Don’t try this at home!

What Kind of Damage can PDR Repair?

PDR can be used to repair a wide variety of damage such as minor collision damage, body creases, hail damage and dents caused by door dings, vandalism, shopping carts, hockey pucks, etc. It has been used for decades and is effective for all types of vehicles.

There are limitations to what PDR can repair. It’s important that the paint is intact, and our technicians need to be able to access the area behind the dent. If PDR is not an option, we will let you know, and our technicians will be able to find the right solution for your vehicle.
